On an ivory table, four paths of paper start from the same pile and join separate folders.

AI audit, the right scope.

A corporate AI audit starts from a real flow to decide where to act, with your tools and your constraints.

The right investment may be to develop nothing.

Four answers.
Which one is useful?

An AI agent is not a conclusion from the start. Explore what each situation really requires.

Choose a situation

Area to examine: organization

Keep the existing

A request is circulating, but no one knows who should respond. Clarifying the role and the rule may be enough.

RequestA topic received
Who takes over?Role to be clarified

To check
The frequency of the problem and the team's ability to enforce the rule.
The profession keeps
Allocation and judgment. No agents to add by default.
What if the task is occasional?

The cost of design, control and maintenance can exceed the usefulness of automation. Occasional use or a clear procedure may be more suitable.

Area to examine: native setting

Configure the tool

Monitoring is manual, even though the tool already has the necessary statuses, reminders or models. Let's look at what's out there.

Your toolFunction available
A settingExplicit rule
Follow-upStatus and manager
To check
The functions of your offer, their limits and configuration rights.
The profession keeps
The monitoring rule and verification of special cases.
Why not build right away?

An existing function can cover the need with fewer parts to maintain. However, it is necessary to test exceptions and usage by the team, not just activate an option.

Avenue to examine: a connection

Connect tools

The same information is copied from one tool to another. If the rule is stable, classic automation may be sufficient.

CRMThe status is authentic
TransmitAn agreed rule
TrackingReturn confirmed
To check
Access, possible connections and handling of a transmission failure.
The profession keeps
The choice of source and rule changes. No agent necessary in principle.
When would AI bring anything?

When the job requires interpreting variable content, an AI capability may be explored. It does not replace a reliable source, a synchronization rule, or verification of the result.

Idea to examine: a suitable layer

Frame the tailor-made

Multiple sources and business-specific rules must produce a common output. The standard leaves passages to be processed.

SourcesEmail, documents, CRM
Your periodDoubt: stop and handoff
PreparationTo be validated by the profession
To check
A limited mission, the permitted sources and the exceptions which require a stop.
The profession keeps
Validation, sensitive decisions and responsibility for what comes next.
Does tailor-made mean AI agent?

Not necessarily. A suitable layer can combine deterministic rules, targeted AI assistance and human validations. The choice depends on the mission, the risks and what can be tested.

Educational situations. These tips do not replace the analysis of your access, your constraints and your exceptions.

A choice to put
to the test.

Before developing, let's define what would allow an initial scope to be tested: comparable situations, necessary corrections and person available to check.

  • Repeats to count
  • Exceptions to follow
  • Real use to observe

For the rest of the journey: integrate AI into your business. To compare the approaches: SaaS or tailor-made solution.

Let's start from a
concrete blockage.

An example, the tools concerned and the person carrying the flow: enough to qualify your need.

Talk about your need

The exploratory exchange qualifies the request. It does not provide a complete map or an architecture ready to develop. The scope of the audit must be agreed before commitment.

Before
investing.

What does an AI audit prepare for?

It helps to decide between avenues based on a concrete process: business need, sources, access, limits and expected result. The decision concerns what is relevant to test and the conditions of the test. The integration process then describes the path to adoption and implementation; the diagnosis prepares this choice.

Can we conclude without an AI agent?

Yes. Keeping what exists, specifying a responsibility, configuring a function or linking two tools may be the most appropriate responses. Infrequent work or a poorly defined rule does not automatically warrant an agent. A competent team can also carry out this scoping internally if it has the necessary time and skills.

What data should be shared?

A representative example can help understand the flow of information. Sensitive data, access rights and exclusions are defined before any sharing or testing. You don't need to connect all your tools to start the discussion. The safeguards on data and actions are among the questions to be examined.

What scope, what budget and what next?

The depth of the diagnosis, its limits, any deliverables and the budget are to be agreed according to the need. The exploratory exchange serves to qualify it. The possible achievement constitutes a distinct scope: it does not automatically arise from the audit. You must be able to decide to configure, test, defer or stop, with explicit criteria.
